If you are using a link rotator script or link randomizer service, that is not on your own domain or web host...STOP!

You are probably limited to the number of links you are allowed to rotate, UNLESS you want to pay them a monthly fee.

Or, your rotation is free but your page is being put in a frame, and at the top and/or bottom of the frame is an advertisement for someone else.

In any case, link rotator and randomizer services are benefiting from the traffic you are sending them in some way.  They are at the very least improving their Alexa ranking every time you and their other members are sending hits to their web site.

When I realized how much traffic I was giving away to link rotator services, I realized it was in my best interest to bring that traffic to my own web server, and do my own rotation there. 

I looked for a link rotator script I could install on my server, but most of the scripts were random link rotating scripts, and I wanted to rotate links in a sequence instead of randomly.

I was surprised that I could not find a script that sequentially rotated links, but I soon discovered why they are all random rotators.

Creating a script that rotates web pages in a sequential order is much more difficult than those that randomly pick a link.

• Track your advertising.  If you are not tracking your advertising, then you have no idea what advertising is working for you and what advertising is working against you.
• Capitalize on page not found errors.  This is one of my favorites.  Whenever someone tries to come to a page on my web site that does not exist, because I have removed the page, or because they mistyped it, I send them to my rotator.

  I use this to test what products I may be able to sell, or how many subscribers I may be able to get, on these pages that would otherwise result in a lost opportunity.
